Razorpay is a payment services provider that enables businesses to accept online payments. CloverLoop is designed to let each creator connect their own Razorpay account rather than routing all creator sales through a central CloverLoop merchant account.
The payment gateway's role
When a customer pays for a creator's product, Razorpay processes the payment using the creator's connected account and the payment methods available to that customer.
Creator-owned account model
The creator is responsible for creating and maintaining their Razorpay merchant account and completing any verification required by Razorpay.
Where the money goes
Razorpay settles eligible funds to the creator's registered bank account according to Razorpay's settlement process and applicable terms. CloverLoop does not centrally collect or hold creator sales proceeds.
Separate platform charges
CloverLoop calculates its platform commission separately and invoices creators monthly. Razorpay processing fees are additional and governed by the creator's Razorpay arrangement.
