Creators who want to accept paid orders need an eligible payment gateway account. Razorpay's onboarding requirements depend on the applicant's legal structure, business activity and verification route. Always follow the requirements displayed by Razorpay.
Step 1: Visit Razorpay
Go to https://razorpay.com/ and choose the relevant signup option.
Step 2: Register
Provide the details requested during registration and complete any email or mobile verification.
Step 3: Select the correct business type
Choose the business structure that accurately describes your activity. Depending on the applicant, options may include an individual, sole proprietorship, partnership, LLP or private limited company. Do not select a different structure simply to bypass a requirement.
Step 4: Complete verification
Razorpay may request identity, address, business and bank information. Exact documents depend on business type and Razorpay's current onboarding process. Use the checklist shown in your Razorpay Dashboard.
Step 5: Submit information
Review all details for accuracy before submitting. Respond to any additional information or document request from Razorpay.
Step 6: Check activation status
Use the Razorpay Dashboard to check whether your account is activated for the relevant payment products. Creating a login does not necessarily mean payment acceptance is enabled.
